I am so impressed with your work ... each new knife is like a new canvas on the wall. First I study it at a distance where I can see both the highlighted images and the background ... a background that shows the dendritic patterns in the steel. Then I get out my loupe and look at the raised image, but as tiny shiny islands of steel raised against a lower background of a rough surface of acid-eaten steel. The contrast at this level, of thousands of islands in a calm sea, is completely divorced from the etched images viewed at eye level. It's a surprise when it quickly morphs into an aquarium view of seven fish swimming left ... and where are they going? My first thought was that phrase from the song, "Swim little fishys, swim if you can". "And they swam, and they swam, right over the dam."... I love my pair of paring knives! Made my day.

Many years ago we bought 2 knives -- a 6" Chef's knife and a small paring knife, both with beautiful Redwood Burl handles. We love and treasure them!

I was finally able to pick [my knife] up a few days ago. I absolutely love it!
The texture of the blade is beautiful and the etching is stunning. As much as I wanted to frame it, I had to put it to use! Feels great in the hand and cuts everything like butta.
It is a true work of art.

Thanks so much for the great work and for the diligence with the production, shipping, etc.

As usual, I spent Sunday with 3 of my grandkids. I fixed hot open faced turkey sandwiches for their lunch, with green beans and new dutch yellow potatoes rolled in butter and Mrs. Dash with dill, and mushroom/turkey gravy. I put P.J. to work on cutting up the potatos. She made quick work of them, and when she was finished, she said; "I really love my knife Papa"

Thanks again for your prompt action in our past dealings.

What a beautiful knife. My congratulations to the maker ... and to you for having such wonderful knives for us enthusiasts!

I love the feel of it ... with that long handle (in proportion to the blade) gives it good balance. I really like the leather sheath you selected. Its quality in both design and construction supports the quality of the knife ... makes a nice combination.

I can hardly wait to get home, so I can use my knives to fix dinner.

We received the knives in good condition. Everything turned out great; the etchings are wonderful; the handles lovely and the board is just right.

I've been on the road the past few days and [the chopper] was safe and sound when I returned. It is absolutely superb...a thing of beauty...I'm ecstatic!!!!!!!

...I am proud of 'our' projects and look forward to more in the future!...there is no one 'out there' that can even come close to the wonderful work that you do...you are the Master!!!!

I wanted to write and tell you how much I have enjoyed using the knives which I own. It was like living in the Middle Ages before I acquired my first Boye knife. Slowly, gingerly, I started using my first knife, and I was an immediate convert. The most important quality is the balance when cutting with them.

Chopping vegetables is a joy. But I use them also for cutting meats and even cutting fish into steaks. Another bonus are the beautiful etchings. I feel like royalty when I use them.

Thank you for the beautiful knives!

The light mid-lock folder of Carbide Crystal and Micarta, crowned by a striking etching of a "Pelican" in its native habitat absolutely astonishes all who see it.

The fixed blade I received with the "Devil's Postpile" mountain scene is beautiful! Between the Dendritic Steel, the rare Rag Micarta handle. great sheath and your exquisite embellishment, this is one beautiful package!

I am amazed by the detail in your etchings.

I have to order a kitchen knife with your "Humpback" whale on it!

The knives have arrived safely already. They are, as usual, functional and beautifully made tools which will be a joy to use.
