A couple of days ago, I was chopping veggies, and the balance of the knife allowed me to develop some rhythms to push me into a wonderful Zen state. A gift that keeps on giving, so nice.
I have several of your knives and I love them and care for them tenderly.
How can I get them sharpened? I will not mail them away, as I cannot live without them. I will however bring them anywhere they can get properly serviced.

I of course think of you every time I take one of my engraved Boye folders out of my pocket. Your craftsmanship is truly amazing and more than stands the test of time — I appreciate it more and more the longer I have my knives!
Yesterday I was watching David working with some blades, sorting, inspecting, and putting them into the tumble polisher. He looked so happy. He’s the “keeper of the knives,” the living fount in this world. He sure does love the knives, and wants the world to have them.
I just received my knife today. It's way better in person than the pics on your website, not that your pics aren't great. Thank you so much.
That was my 1st experience with Boye knives and I was very impressed. I work on sailboats as an instructor and delivery captain. My previous knives did not cut as well from new and would inevitably rust given the treatment they were subjected to. I might normally have gone for a serrated blade but rope cutting performance is shockingly good even with the straight edge. Got a second one for my dad.
My girlfriend has a set of amazing Boye Kitchen knives. Before going farther, these are by far the best knives I have ever held in my hand. Although I have been using them daily for over 3 years, they have almost no need for sharpening and are beautiful and balanced.
Please excuse my tardiness in getting back to you re my new knife. Just know that I Love It! It is elegant and beautiful, works great, and though I didn't need it, I am so glad that I now have it.
